Dr. Duber has joined Steward Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Rockledge, Florida (July 19, 2023) –Rockledge Regional Medical Center, a Steward Family Hospital is pleased to announce that Mark Duber, D.O., a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in joint replacement, has joined Steward Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. 

“We are very excited to welcome Dr. Duber to the Steward family,” said Tom Bowden, President of Rockledge Regional Medical Center. “The addition of his experience and knowledge will complement our orthopedic program and broaden the services we are able to provide to the residents of the Space Coast.” 

Dr. Duber, earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Health System/South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. 

“Orthopedics allows me to keep people in the game. It allows me to get patients back to the activities they want to do,” explains Dr. Duber as to why this area of medicine is fulfilling. He is enthusiastic to utilize his three phases of orthopedic medicine to help the residents of Brevard County and beyond.

A veteran, Dr. Duber served as a Major in the United States Army and was the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Fort Knox, in Kentucky. He has a passion for adventure and is a private pilot, sky-diving coach, and scuba diver.
